Abstract

Malaria and Pneumonia have been major causes of morbidities and mortalities in Kwale County in the past years. Majority of the people in the county who get pneumonia have a higher incidence of Malaria. Thus, even though Malaria is prevalent in Kwale, individuals whose Malaria incidence is lower rarely get Pneumonia. In this project В we try to find whether there is any correlation between the two diseases. We investigate the factors that may contribute to this correlation. We derive control of these factors would lead to the reduction of both diseases.
